high school photography club. what should i photograph?

My camera is old and not amazing lol. but hey it captures a picture.

so what can i take pictures of?
our teacher said to take at least 25 pics of anything at all.
how can i make them look good on a non professional camera?
and of what.?
 
It HELPS to have a really great camera BUT it isn't a prerequisite.
First think light.
Second think composition.
Third think focus.
Fourth think about all of the above and go shoot whatever catches your eye.

Fifth- if that doesn't work, the chess club is always looking for new members.
