High School Musical

You gotta keep in mind that this is a disney movie, aimed at ppl who watch disney channel mainly kiRAB and young adults, its just surprising that a tv movie has made such an impact

I'm 17 and I thought it was good. It's not the amazing film ever - didn't match up to the hype at all...
It's just like any normal american teen movie I think, with like what somebody said above -- too much happening at the same time, and then this happens, and then that happens etc. The songs are catchy though.

8/10.

The girl with the blonde hair is great :D :D

I saw it today, I'm 14 (15 next week!!) and i thought it was quite good. The songs were good, it wasnt really as good as it was hyped up to be. I think i would have prefered it more if i wouldnt have expected it to be such a amazing film (because of all the adverts/etc..)

It was over hyped tbh. It's a good film, but I don't think it deserved the attention it's been getting. Even BBC News have been reporting about it, although I guess it's because it will be on BBC One eventually.

The songs are catchy, the story is good, and there are some humourous moments. It's a feel good film, slightly cheesy, but nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed it.

I heard they're making a third film as well, it will apparently be a 'trilogy'.

My sister is always watching Disney Channel - Thats So Raven, Suite Life, Lizzie McGuire - grrrrr; i'm hearing the trailer songs ALL THE BLOODY TIME! They seem to be during every single commercial break! The hype is just too much!

Is anyone planning on going to the premiere on the 10th? I've heard it's at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, if so does anyone know how to get tickets??

Rumours i have heard for the HSM 2 is that it will take place at a club where Sharpay/Ryan's parents own it and the gang go there for the summer and Troy has a job there as a lifeguard
