High School Marching Band Camp?

Ok well I'm going to be an 8th grader (1st year of high school) and I'm starting band camp Monday. I'm REALLY nervous like about the older kids & if I'm up to par with how they play or if I can learn to march good, keep in step or most of all memorize my music and spots on the field. I'm also extremely worried about section leaders... they are like in charge of the whole section right? What exactly do they do? I'm worried that the section leader of my section (clarinets) is gonna be mean or idk.. This Monday is just gonna be fundamentals! I have to come back in July to learn the marching show which is gonna be the scary part! I'm so worried please give advice.

don't worry at all im in band i worried about all this stuff when i was joining marching band like marching is easy stuff and you practice the music and everything else sooooo much youll memorize it way easy i did and i cant memorize anything and the section leader will be nice the band directors wont pick a mean person to be a leader
