Hi, I'm looking for animes that have a great plot and story like Toradora! and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The genre is 'Romance Comedy' and 'Slice of Life'. In Japan, these are considered Otaku picks, not something like Naruto or Bleach.
Aside from that, the anime must utilize some form of CGI animation, in order to make the anime more realistic. I'm not talking Sailor Moon quality here. To get a better idea, look at this video in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya :

I don't believe Lovely Complex would work.
The animation must be crisp and feel realistic like in the video.

I will try CLANNAD, too. It looks nice, but I hear it's sad. Good enough!
