High Pulse Rate

My pulse rate has been high for several weeks now. Blood pressure is fine. Was diagnosed with kidney/bladder infection/dehydration and taking necessary meds, drinking more water. Pulse rate stays between 95 and 108. Was told that dehydration would cause a high pulse rate, but after drinking nothing but water the last two days, it is still in the 100's. It feels like my heart is doing the tango especially when I am laying down. My grandfather died of a heart attack at 58 so I am a bit concerned. I am a 53 yr old female. I am experiencing upper tightness/discomfort in the upper back.

My father had a stroke Oct 18, '08 and passed away Dec 3rd. During his illness I spent most evenings at the hospital after work, staying the night with him on weekends. Through trying to survive Christmas/New Years in the mix, it wouldn't surprise me if stress is not a contributing factor as well, but thought things would settle down by now.

Do I need to be concerned? dsjhub
