The car has 208,000 miles on it, and is a 2003 Honda Element priced at $5500 (kbb is 4300-5600), the car *looks* like its in good shape, so i have a few questions, first: good idea or bad idea? what can i expect to go wrong with a car at 200k miles? are repairs on a Honda like this reasonable, or is it worth putting up with? is it better to get an older car like 1998-1999 with like 100,000-150,000 miles? any other input you have would be gladly welcome, cars are not our family's specialty
