Absolutely brilliant film, watched it for the 1st time last weekend. Joh Cusack is great as Rob.

Rob: I can't fire them. I hired these guys for three days a week and they just started showing up every day. That was four years ago. :cool:

Also one of Nick Hornby's top 5 books :D
 
Yeah I have to agree it is a great film and I have watched it so many times!
Both John Cusack and Jack Black are great in it but Jack Black isnt in it for long enough though!
 
The book cracked me up and I had to see the film. Vera Farmiga is smoking and I can't imagine anyone else than John Cusack (big fan since Say Anything) or Jack Black playing their roles.
 
It's a good film, but I'm sure that I read somewhere that this is being turned into a broadway musical.
Someone tell me I'm dreaming.
 
Haven't heard anything but I do hope it's just a dream. They would kill it.

I think it's such a great movie because of the late 20's to mid 30's age group that can relate.

'About a boy' lost the magic for Nick Hornby when they got Hugh to star.

Jack Black plays his part really intense. Absolutely brilliant!!!
 
I love High Fidelity! The book and the film are just magic. John Cusack is brilliant as Rob, and Jack Black is, well, just brilliant. The D rules!!
