Hiding Number

Is there any number that sum1 can hit b4 callin me so there number wont show up on ma billing details?...I KNW *67 wud work but it says "block number" on the bill and i dont want that to appear either ...i use t-mobile NOKIA 3220....THANXX
 
Hibs you want something that's not going to solve the problem that you have, no matter what does or does not show up on the bill, the time of the call is what is going to have you parents asking who you have been talking to so often from a number that is blocked or not showing up.

So in YOUR particular case, your options are very few, and they are in order..

LIE

Use someone else's phone to talk to the people your parents do not wish you to talk to.

Talk to them anyway and deal with what happens when you do.

Get your own phone in your own name, and start paying for your own apartment, food, bills, you know... life in general.

Those four options pretty much cover it I think.

There is of course a 5th option, but I know you would not care to hear abotu that one, but here it is anyway.

Give up the cell phone and talk to them using pay phones.
 
this was already discussed at length in the t-mobile forum. i suggest you stop looking for a way to get around this 'problem' and start dealing with the isssue with your parents!
 
That would be the best thing to do, but seems like the OP, ONLY wants an option to work around her parents knowing about the people she's calling on a phone "THEIR" paying for, when they get the bill. So the OP actually paying out of their own pocket... not likely to be happening for whatever reason the OP may have for not forking out the cash to do pay as you go. :D
 
As a parent (even though he's way too young for a cellphone, though he does enjoy "talking" to the grammas on speakerphone) I'm with T-Mobile on the whole "If I'm paying I get the details" theory ;)

dontcha wanna be way cool with multiple cellphones ringing?? :rolleyes:
 
this subject is tired.

1. if it was his/her bill ('ma billing details') this would be solved by paperless billing.

2. obviously, the parents are paying, and being a future parent, i'm not going to help some adolescent deceive their parents.

3. and for crying out loud, it's a phone call. if the parents will get that upset about a phone call, something is up with the person being called. and i don't think we should involve ourselves in that nonsense.

my final thought: this person needs to talk to their parents!

That is how my parents were. We could have all the privacy we wanted, when we were paying all the bills. And at the time they had been paying the family cell phone bill as well, they would have wanted to know who was calling who and why we were on the cell phone for 3 hours to one number 23 times in one billing period.

Heheh that or I'd be eating a phone for dinner that night!

Well I was cool for a short time with a work cell, a work pager and my own cell. The was no way to hide when you were on call!!!!
 
Hah!! My bro used the "I visit my sister's place a lot and there's no tower there" on his workplace.....

.....they gave him a satellite phone....

his response? "$300 a month on the company bill because I wanted to turn the ringer off when I was on the boat 10 miles from home"
 
thanx for the help...u r right....well i cannot be independent completely cuz im an asian and an asian girl have to depend on her father till she get married...ma mom is wid me all the time i mean she dont mind me talkin to people but my dad does....i knw this guy from a long time who im sure is a nice person n ma mom knws him too...but as i said...."culture and customs"...i do respect ma dad's thoughts and ma culture but at sum point in life we gotta chose what we want....and i will not go against my parents if they reject the guy later on...anyway thanx a lot for the help....:)
 
well...i love my parents and respect them as well....the only problem i got is that ma parents dont trust ma decisions...they have never did...n i knw at this point in life i am right....i dont wanna loose sumone jus cuz they think i cannot make good decisions...they r right at there place....ma parents say that girls r basically innocent and guyz r animal inside....girls gotta protect themselves...n i truly believe that i thank god that he have always protected me from this kinda crap...i mean guys n all....im in college knw i can make ma own decisions....i knw who is right for me n whos not..i jus wanna change ma position in ma parents' eyes...n if later on even after meetin the guy they will say that he is not the right person....ill back off i wont say a word against them cuz i knw they knw everything better then i do.....they have gone thru everything in life n i didnt even started yet.....so i am not decieving ma parents n besides that ma mom knws everythin....
 
well ma parents dont care about the bill they jus do about who im talkin to....even if ma bill cum up to 400 all they wanna knw is that who i was talkin to....i appreciate there concern n luv but sumtime i need sum kinda privacy...n even in ma private life i always keep ma parents in ma mind n take decisions...
 
well...theres no way i can solve it wid ma parents cuz this has been goin on for 4 years nw n i've tried it thousand times....nobody listens to me...because..talkin to a guy is a crime in ma culture..its a sin...im still a live cuz i live in U.S or else ma parents and other family members bak in ma hometown wud have gotten me married to sumbody when i turned 13....so theres no way i can solve it wid family..thanxx
