Hi when i do body weight exercises like pushups and pullups my muscles feel

soft and broken down,when i do...? weights, so dumbbells and things like supination curls and shoulder raises my muscles feel puffed up, One way of putting it is if i do bodyweights exercises the muscles become compact and hard whereas after weights they become bigger, my question is if i Do say 25 reverse pullups then curls straight away what effect will this have on my muscles will it make them big make them compact of both?? thanks
