Hi should I exchange my current HDTV to a new Samsung 3D-HDTV?

Hi I bought a 52" Sony Bravia HDTV LCD 1080P 120Hz in 6 months ago & I'm still making down payment of $162.80 monthly & my currently balance is $1905.80. I love technology & hated when something new comes out in stores because technology do change. I do plan buying a used car soon & I just got a higher raised. I really do want the new 55"Samsung HDTV 3D/LED 1080P 240Hz that cost $2969.99 or more. Should I make a exchange or should I look away & focus on the car? Lol thanks!
