Often such software conflicts can be resolved by first backing up your Palm by a HotSync and then doing a hard reset on the Palm thus erasing all data and apps. Only the core Palm installed ROM apps will remain. Then go to your Palm folder and bore down to the HotSync ID folder and then the "Backup" folder. Select the Backup Folder and Cut and then Paste it to your PC's Desktop. Now when you hotsync next all of your core application data will be reinstalled to your Palm. After that start with your launcher app and install apps one or two at a time checking after each install for any problems. Its a good time to install a fresh copy of your third party apps to prevent putting any corrupted files back on the Palm. Lots of work, yes! But it will give you a stable Palm.
