Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me how to put airbags in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier?

My mom was in a accident about 3 years ago and they didnt have great insurance so they never reported it to the insurance company so it just sat in our driveway. We are now getting it fixed and I was wondering how do you install the airbags? Also the steering wheel dosent lock anymore, is this important to have? If I need to replace it do I have to buy a whole new ignition, column and steering wheel? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
