...items and paid a fine. I'm in a? Hi, I was caught shoplifting but never attended court. I paid for the stolen items and paid a fine. I'm in a different country now applying for a job that requires a CRB check. Will my previous offense in that differet country be revealed? Thank you
Don't be too harsh on me. I've done an extremely stupid thing that is not like me at all. I've been coerced into it by a charming, manipulative sociopath I got shamelessly drunk with. Do you think not providing that incriminating address of residence would be an option? Howeve, I remember they took a photocopy of my passport at the police station

its a little confusing, who did you pay the fine to? i thought a court would have dictated the fine but you say that it did not go to court, anyway what matters now is you have paid for your offence so hopefully it will not be revealed. there are different levels of police checks depending on the job that you are applying for.

Most likely not. Most inter country BACKGROUND checks do not catch that sort of petty stuff. It depends on the type of BGC they pay for and how in depth it is.

Of course you will be asked to supply the last places of your residence so they MAY just find it that way. Either way, you should just try to clear things up with the court that the issue was out of,
