Hi I have a 2000 buick century and the fuel pump is not pumping.?

when i turn the key on the on position the pump does not turn on. i check the fuels and the relays and there good. i also checked the fuel pump and its working well, just to let you know the fuel pump is only 8mons old. my i droped the fuel tank and checked the fuel pump and the pump does not turn on at all. i need help!!!

you said "i also checked the fuel pump and its working well" then "the pump does not turn on at all" which is it? I bought a used fuel pump once and it only lasted a year.
