Oz, yeh it's a Zard. I'm really pleased with it, both performance-wise and db-wise . Also ain't too bad to look at Nice bike u had there!
 
thanks DB, the Zard is the pick of systems for the 749's, best performing all round especially mid range which is why i went Zard.. also had Zard on my 1098s, and now looking at what to do with the 1198s
 
Dude that 1098s is a sickass bike (but I have a bone to pick with u regarding the bagster!)
I'm a huge fan of the Zards, I love them on the 1098/1198 too but as far as I know there isn't a full system yet. The exhaust on the 749s has definitely improved the midrange as well as the higher end which is something u have to sacrifice with some of the other options out there. In my opinion they have a more unique look but that's just a matter of personal taste. But for Pete's sake, don't put those chunky akra's on your pretty bike I'll be waiting for pics posted on your final choice
 
The Bagster is just a temp protection thing to keep the tank clean /unmarked.. the 1098 had very soft paint on the tank which marked easily..

no Akra's.. am told the Zard 1098R system fits the 1198,but want something different this time, so have one up my sleeve that will knock em all out.. just waiting for the testing to finish..
