Hi, Debating b/w 09' VW CC Vs used 08-09' A4 (2.0T engines). What do you guys

suggest/personal exp plz? Tnx? Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a car for my wife....debating b/w used A4 2.0T (211/254) and new VW CC (200/207). I want to stick to 22-25k range and want to make this car primary (*drive a bmw m3). Btw, can we use regular fuel in these 2.0T cars?? Somebody suggested that premium fuel is 'recommended' but not required....so, city driving or less load driving can be done on 87 grade...and if load is heavy and/or highway driving (*long trip) is involved, 93 grade is good. Relevant stats in description will be highly **appreciated**.

I love the looks of the new CC. But I'm not sure you can get one for less than $25k unless you get a base model without options. I'd have to drive one to figure out if that turbo 4 is strong enough to pull a bigger car. It's plenty strong for my Jetta but that is a significantly smaller car. My turbo Jetta runs best on premium fuel. That is all I use.

For strictly financial reasons I would always say buy used, it's the smarter thing to do. Let someone else take the huge depreciation hit for those first two years. The A4 (with the same engine) would be a great car for your wife and by buying used you can shop for a top of the line A4 with all the options for less than a base model VW with no options.

Buy the Audi.
