Hi, it is normal to have pain/soreness for usually 1 to 2 days after the injection. This has happened to me several times also. My pain & soreness was all around the injection site. My last 3 injections were done caudally (putting the injection in at the bottom and going up into the epidural space); so that meant I got the shots in my rear (more of the sacral spine area). So when the soreness came on the day after my shots, it was pretty uncomfortable to sit and lay down flat. This only lasted 2 days for me, then it went away and I started feeling alot better.
Does your pain seem to center more around the area of your injection? Or do you have pain in other areas?
