Ugh, I'm the same way and I went through the same thing with my step-granny. It was annoying. I just couldn't get a moment alone.

I'm really protective of my personal space, too, and most people seem to respect that but that woman was really pushy. It was strange.

Lem- Aww im sorry  Yes ive experienced those before too and I agree. I dont like people who invade my personal space either. I dont do that to them, I expect the same in return.

I dislike people who stand too close to me while talking. I usually move 1-2 paces back and they move 1-2 paces towards me.... makes me uncomfortable. Happens with people who are hard of hearing and want to move closer to hear me better..... but still ... I feel my space is being invaded. Also I found out its a cultural thing too ..some stand close to talk and others stand at some distance !!

I make loud personal remarks like, 'My god what is that smell?' then turn around and make out like I'm suprised there is someone behind me, then by the look on my face you can tell I know where the smell comes from. It's amazing how quickly that person backs up..it's mean but I can't stand strangers invading my personal space :evil_lol:

 I've gotten butt-bumped by carts sometimes, too--usually by little kids who shouldn't be messing about with the shopping carts. It's annoying.

Really . A cashier made a pass at me the other day but I didn't realize it until after I'd left, I remember thinking "that was so weird... wait a minute!" :lmao:

Now you know for next time ;)

 ^ Now that is funny!

I certainly have my own personal space especially when it comes to strangers.

It has been pointed out to me that maybe she was making a pass at me. :look: I honestly never thought of that.

You're definitely not the only one. I really don't like it when people get in my personal space, it is so uncomfortable for me my mind gets blocked and I can't think about anything else. Through the years, I've developed my "pissed off" look, and that usually helps to get people to notice they're too close .

OMG!!! she seriously needs to be taught a lesson on etiquette. i would have let her have it. aw thats good though you were a class act :o) props!

Nope, you're not the only one. She didn't apologize? At least if I bump into someone, I apologize (unless it's my way of saying "you're being annoying. Eff off") and usually it's because I'm shifting weight in my arms. Sorry you had to deal with that.
