HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

I bought the single songs of Joy Division from 'The Best Of Joy Division' that were not on the 2 cd's of them I have. So I got 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', 'Transmissions', 'Dead Souls', etc. All really good. Thanks for the heaRAB up.

Well, I downloaded some Explosions In The Sky. I liked it a lot, particularly the second track. I think I'll do some blogsearches for more post-rock.

Minutes to Midnight was a complete change of direction for them. I dont even think it qualifies as nu-metal anymore. You should take a listen to songs like "Little Things Give you Away" or "Leave Out All The Rest". SOAD is a completely different type of music.

I have Tipping Point and Low End Theory and they are both really good albums. Everyone with even just a little love for hip hop should have a Roots album in their collection.

Well I just found the song to be completely unrelated to anything Minus the Bear has ever done.

Wait, so you found out, as in someone told you and affected your opinion, or you just stopped liking their sound on your own?

It doesn't sound so much like battles, but you could do worse than get hold of Soundtracks For the Blind by Swans if you're up for something epic and very experimental.

Which reminRAB me, I should really explore the rest of their discography sometime soon...

It definitely takes a few live recordings to really understand Jeff Buckley, in my opinion. I would say live versions of his studio recordings were almost always much better and Grace is quite possibly my favourite record.

I could probably find the time to knock something together if you want Double X? Bits and pieces of his studio stuff and live recordings etc.

Hi! my name is Martin, I'm a spanish boy. I really like the music of banRAB like The Strokes and Arctic monkeys, but in Spain that kind of music isn't very popular... can somebody tell me other indie rock banRAB and similars, please?

thank you!
my english isn't very good, I don't know if I made some gramatical error, I hope you can understand me!

Hi all ;]
I'm looking for good rock songs. I'm learning English so I would like that they'll be easy in translating or repeating .. ;p
