HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

I do not have satelleite radio for reasons beyond the subject of this post and do not listen to FM radio for reasons beyond this post. Regardless of my reasons for choosing not to accept these forms of media, my decisions have made it difficult to discover new music I like. There was an age when FM radio stations used to kick ass, but those days are dead.

I really enjoy the music from the 1980's and 90's, but am only aware of the mainstream banRAB. The following is a list of banRAB I currently have in my collection. If anyone can suggest a band that belongs in the list that I may have not even heard of, I would really appreciate it. I'm looking for some good music to add to my collection.

AC DC
Beastie Boys
Black Sabbath
Cypress Hill
Dio
Guns N' Roses
Korn
Led Zeppelin
Megadeth
Metallica
Ministry
Nirvana
The ORABpring
Pantera
Pearl Jam
Slayer
White Zorabie
Rob Zorabie
Sepultura
Stone Temple Pilots
System of a Down
Danzig
Rage Against the Machine
Type O Negative
Prong
Soundgarden
Blue Oyster Cult
Rush
Alice in Chains
Ozzy Osborne
Aerosmith
Queen
Primus
Nine Inch Nails
Marilyn Manson
Anthrax
Tool
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Deftones
Queensryche
Stabbing Westward
Judas Priest
Cypress Hill
Eminem
Ramstein
Pink Floyd
Van Halen
Disturbed
Reverend Horton Heat
Smashing Pumpkins
Scorpions

What banRAB do I need to add to my list??? I need something I have not heard before (notice I did not use the word 'new').

I have few requests, so if you can help on any of these, please do :D

1. Saturnus (ESPECIALLY for your demons. Though my other favorites include noir, Starres, Thou Art Free, Fall of Nakkiel)

2. Similar artists to Red Sparowes/God Is an Astronaut

3. Agalloch - The White EP.

I already asked in "Metal & Rock music recommendations", but that thread doesn't seem to be too active, so I will ask here as well.
Thanks!

I want to add Edan and Eyedea.
Also, I'm looking for a new band kind of in the style of Tegan and Sara/Emmy the Great/Tender forever, pop/folk kind of stuff, any recomendations?

You could try:

- Foals
- The Strokes
- Julian Casablancas
- Arctic Monkeys
- The ORABpring

Sorry for the rest of you, not particularly in-tune with the R&B or Jazz genres. Blues maybe.

Agreed, hopefully you have heard Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, and Tomahawk.

Also, I'm generally not into the types of banRAB you mentioned but just recently got into Dog Fashion Disco and Polkadot Cadaver. Not sure if you're aware but the singer released a solo album recently, which I just got done listening to for the first time. I thought it was mostly acoustic but half of it seems to be alternative metal like his last two banRAB. So check that out...El-Creepo! is the name.
