HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

Theres a few songs that I really like that have an interesting sound that I'm trying to find in other songs/artists.

Those two songs are:

Manticora - Critical Mass (Mainly the Intro)

Prodigy - Medusas Path

Both can be found on youtube but I can't post links yet :(

I'd prefer if it were rock but it's not totally required. If anyone knows of any very similar songs or artists I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Hi, My name is Joseph. Currently residing in Canada..

A question if I can regarding genre(could find a proper forum to post this in).
I'm primarily a Pink Floyd/Roger Waters fan, who also enjoys The beetles, The doors, Queen, Echo and the bunnymen. Normally older music, and normally fairly relaxed. I cannot stand today's "hip hop" or "pop" with all the negativity and what feels like forced lyrics.

I'm looking for a particular genre with a "take you along" for the ride kind of feel to it. An attribute I find Floyd and Roger Waters has captured far better than anything else I've listened to thus far. As well, I'm overplaying too many of my favorite songs which is taking the feel away from them-making them too predictable-. Which is why I'm desperately looking for a few new banRAB.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Theres a lot of Buckley stuff out there, even though he only has one studio album. Theres a double disc release of material he had for the second record at the time of his death, theres EP's and a few excellent live albums.

Yeah, so I'm looking for some recommendations. I like a lot of music, but a few banRAB/artists I listen to are: Ryan Adams, Radiohead, U2, Tori Amos, Tom Petty, Brad Paisley and Elliott Smith.

I really dont know what genre suits me the most, but any corabination of these banRAB or different styles are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks! :)

So I was reading through some more post through out the site, and I have realized there seems to be a strong sense of Elvis Costello = Great.

Personally I have never heard an Elvis Costello song ever, which some of you may find sad. And I apologize for that. But I am here to make amenRAB. If you don't mind please refer me to the best albums and/or songs to start getting into Elvis Costello

Thanks & Much Appreciated.
