Looking for some good German music. I'm going there for 2 years and want to immerse myself in German for the next couple months.

Edit: Not music like Rammstien. Also, I'd like the lyrics to be in German.

i need to become more open to R & B music what's the best album to start off with?

There's a band called Jet (Not the rubbish AC/DC tribute band from the 00's) who recorded an album in the mid 70s before they became the punk band The Radio Stars.

They're well worth a listen too.

ahh hollywood undead sucks imo (stay away) but if your looking for some rapcore stuff check out (hed)p.e, reveille, rage against the machine also i know you listed mike shinoda..check out the stuff he did with styles of beyond if you havent heard it yet its pretty good

(hed)p.e - crazy life is a sick song

Wye Oak - The Knot
Mary Timony/Mary Timony Band - The Shapes We Make
Veruca Salt - American Thighs

Veruca Salt were not labeled indie then but the sound of this album fits right in with what indie is today. Because, you know, indie is today what alternative rock was in the 90s. So you might as well check out PJ Harvey too.

PJ Harvey - Dry & Rid of Me
