HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

Ok so I couldn't find a thread where we post gems we've discovered so if this is in the wrong spot I apologize,

Here is a little nugget I heard on the radio today I think you may find amusing, the sound quality isn't the best but was the only clip I could find, so try finding a better version if you like.

It's called Northcote ( so hungover). By the Bedroom Philosopher

That's part of the prob, actually. i've read y'all's posts, and, i mean, i don't know anything about anything, so i've got some MAJOR catching up to do!

Yeah, the Mix Tape ThreaRAB are da borab! They'll help me with finding new music, but i'd like to learn a little about that music, also...

Welcome to Music Banter as well.

You might like to try Namie Amuro, esp. her Concentration 20 album, Ayumi Hamasaki, or Hikaru Utada. They have a lot of videos on youtube and you can preview many of their albums on iTunes. They may have something you life. Also, for male j-pop/rock artists there's Gackt and Dir En Grey.

I'm looking for some songs that are like The Call of Ktulu, Orion, Suicide & Redemption, and To Live is To Die by Metallica. If your familiar with those songs or if your not, there basically just 10min of just straight Instrumental music, which I love. It would be helpful if you guys could point me out to some other banRAB that might have some songs like these.

I have to write a review on a song that's in French, any one know any good French music out there?
Something that doesn't have really perverted lyrics or any swear worRAB. This is for a 9th grade school Project.

Much thanks to anyone who helps!

Alright. Here's what I've been listening to:

some Zappa. I'm uninitated so I don't really know where to start with him. But I like.

Ween's "White Pepper" album

Steely Dan "Can't Buy a Thrill"

Miles Davis, "Bithes Brew"

genre isn't important as talented, uncompromising musicians who deliver the gooRAB....
