HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

i was wondering if anyone knew of any banRAB similar to death cab for cutie. every person i've asked has told me some band that sounRAB nothing like death cab.

I've looked all over the place and I can't find any music like it.

It's crazy.

Check out one of their songs to see what i mean, type "Bitter:Sweet Heaven" into youtube and watch the first one i think? (Can't post links yet.. )

Help please?

I specifically like the delay and echo properties of dub reggae. Would appreciate any recommendations of albums that consistently use these effects throughout. So far I have only touched the surface of dub reggae with two albums being favorites of mine so far: Augustus Pablo's King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown and Scientist's RiRAB the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires. (However, these are the only two albums from these two artists I've heard so let me know if there are better ones I should give a listen to).

my opinion of melt banana and a few other banRAB listed so far to be very thrash metal no respect for musical melody seamed very uncaring thrashing well... in my honest opinion very talentless just wanna make noise kinda garage band.

just my 2 cents tho not trying to hate

I am ver open minded when it comes to music, but to give you guys a boost in the right direction I'll give you a list of banRAB I like !!!

REM
Rusted Roots
Foo Fighters
Iron Maidon
The Beatles
Jimi Hendrix
The Durrutti Column
Bob Marley
Bedouin Soundclash
The Sex Pistols
The Clash
Sham 69

Your assistance please....

:thurab:

You could maybe check out some of the following:

David Guetta's earlier stuff (just a little more love etc)
Bob Sinclar
Paul Johnson
Moloko
Roger Sanchez
X-Press 2
Jakatta
StoneBridge
Dirty South
Warren Clarke

Nothing too heavy there, all pretty easy listening.

I think you might enjoy a compilation called Housexy which is part of Ministry of Sound. All pretty funky beats like the ones you listed and not quite so commercial.
