i'm looking for some new stuff to add to my itunes and i was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for music with the same kind of sound :D
 
First of all, I would like to say HI everyone!
I'm new to this forum so i'm still trying to find my way around here. =]

Since this is an appropriate place for discussing music, I was hoping you guys could help me find out more artists/ songs that relate to some of the song titles and videos i'm about to show.

I listen to house, artists like -- Late Night Alumni, Deadmau5, and Kaskade
But recently i'm been addicted to "fashion show" songs like
Kennedy - Karate (Heard this song at ALDO)

and also..

Leona Lewis - Happy (Jason Nevins Remix)
Please give these songs a listen! They are great and you will have a better understanding of what songs I mean :D

Well for the first post of my career on rab i would like to say after reading alot of comments about Karnivool i tried them out and love em. At the same time, The Dear Hunter has been mentioned a few times as well. Any suggestions on songs by them? Any other banRAB in this genre would be awesome to learn about.
 
The Pax Cecilia have another album out before Blessed but it's nowhere near as good as that. Brilliant album.

The first is definitely more in the style of Flying Lotus, the second is a bit more on the IDM side of things I'd say. Well for now I would suggest you check out some more Dimlite. That song is from his latest EP Prismic Tops, which is a bit more trippy in style than his first 2 albums (both great though).
 
I'd say Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

Though i'm not to into RHCP either if someone who is more experienced with them can give you an answer i'dtake there word over mine.

You might want to check out Ataxia if you liked his solo stuff.
 
First one is retro 60's 70's action fast tempo hip-hop with a kickin beat and blaring trumpets sort of like 'I'm your villain' by Franz Ferdinand forget the lyrics though or like 'Get It Sapo' by DJ4Joy

Secondly I'm looking for some electornica bluegrass with some serious banjo in it. No lyrics preferably and no chipmunk BS.

Meat is Murder is their best studio album but I strongly perfer Hatful of Hollow to any studio albums.


I’d go with Closer, since there is an abundance of stronger tracks, but you cant go wrong either way.
