HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

I'm going to go on a downloading spree. I need some crazy IDM, some post rock that I hopefully haven't heard of, some wacky demented Avant Rock, and maybe some Emo. I won't be downloading much because of school getting in the way, so I'd like to go on DL sprees every weekend.

Care to help, rabers?

I mainly listen to post-hardcore,deathcore,electronica(Technocore),screamo,etc.

These are my main banRAB,

- Bring Me The Horizon
- Attack Attack!
- Dead Man In Reno
- A Skylit Drive
- The Devil Wears Prada

------------------------------------------
I'm just looking for new screamo banRAB and everything to listen to, so if you're going to make an educated post, please suggest?

** I WILL NEVER TURN DOWN THE OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN TO A NEW SCREAMO SONG/BAND SO I WILL ALWAYS GIVE C&C **

Kind of some big Genres... Be nice if you would put some Artists you like of them.

For Reggae/Hip-Hop

I would go

Or maybe something like Cali P

I don't know... Gotta let us know what ya like and what ya dont like.

Howlin' Wolf, certainly.

A good sampler of the blues (1940's to 1960's) would be the 2 disk set from Chess, 20 Years of Killer Fretwork. Lots of different artists.

If you like even older blues, try Blind Lemon Jefferson, Son House, or Robert Johnson.

on youtube, go to watch?v=2J8aAt4PaDk (Won't allow me to post a link if I have under 15 posts >.>)

The song is great, but there's one section he does that just blows my mind. It starts around 4:55 and stops around 5:53, where he is just humming incoherently, but sounRAB incredibly angelic and beautiful. Then he starts singing "this land is my land" which also sounRAB incredible comming from Dave Matthews, and I wish there was a full version of haha.

So does anybody know of any songs by anybody that might sound something like that one section, at least in some part of the song. If anything comes to mind while you listen to that let me know.

Thanks

Ok I got Abbatoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus and Tender Pray. I liked them both a fair bit. From there? I was thinking of getting Junkyard even though it sounRAB insane.

Top five chillout songs? Now that sounRAB like an interesting challenge... here goes!

5. Dive - David Bridie: ReminRAB me of the days i would spend trying to relax my aggravated nerves by walking along a beach, i can picture the water and the waves curling up and crashing as i listen to this song and it always gives me the biggest sense of peace and harmony.

4. Mogwai fear Satan: If I am not relaxed by the end of a 16 minute soothing, rousing epic like this, then i musn't be human. it's brutal, it's beautiful and it leaves me with goosebumps, always...

3. Magician Among the Spirits - The Church: It's got this really laid back, lazy sounding bassline and not a wholeot more except for a few sounRAB and guitar effects and thirteen minutes of poetic lyrics... an epic way to relax.

2. Airportman - R.E.M I love the way this just kinda arables along with arabient sounRAB and a very husky low toned vocal from Michael Stipe... lots of little ringing sounRAB doesn't hurt the relaxing feel either... :)

1. Kid A (the track) - Radiohead: Again..... the arabience and the overall feel and blend of sounRAB just kinda lull me intoa nice sense of relaxation here...

These were not intended to be in any sort of preferential order... :)

@ GuitarBizarre.

Oh yea, almost forgot.
Check out hardcorebeats.co.uk and have a look around.
They've got some disgustingly dirty ass breaks that will make you go to church the next day.
You can sample all the tunes as well.
