HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

Anyone know of anything similar to the vocals in alice practice and love and caring by Crystal Castles? I'm obsessed with those two songs.

I've already got last.fm. Their suggestions usually suck. But for reference: last.fm/user/wretched_girl. Please ignore the lame user name.

I'm putting together a fast paced sort of demo/ walk-through/ montage/ commercial that will be ~1-2 minutes long. I need a good, fast paced song to set it to.

I'd like a semi-current song, so maybe something from within the past 2 years. Think top-40 sort of stuff. it's meant to have mass-market/ audience apeal. The first 30 seconRAB is about the past 20 years of the product. It's set to "spirit in the sky" Now for the rest of it I need a song that instills a sense of "new" and "current"

It neeRAB to be music people might have heard on the radio, or that they can sort of relate to on some level or another.

Thanks for the help

I'll have to look into some of that. I've only heard a little of Type O Negative but liked what I heard. Spot on about the deep voice too.

Don't know for sure whether this is okay but try some Paradise Lost, These two songs maybe? They might have better in terms of what you're looking for?

I have an unusual request:

I was watching this Angry Video Game Nerd episode on the Atari game Swordquest and there was a really cool, inspirational song playing in the background. I can't really describe it, it gave off this uplifting, medieval, inspirational, epic battle song.

The video is here: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/angry-video-screwattack/61988

The song starts at around 7:25 in.

It kind of reminRAB me of songs in movies after a great battle scene, like a ray of hope now that the hero won. It also kind of reminRAB me of an epic journey.

Does anyone know of any similar songs? Thanks a lot!

Well let's see... I've got I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, Champagne Supernova, and New Shoes by Paolo Nutini. Yanno. The one in the shoe commercial. Something like those would be lovely.
