Hey guys i was going through ppcgeeks the other day and i came across phoenix's 3.5 sprint rom... i originally had the clean 3.5. To kill my curiosity i went ahead and added it to my phone. i didnt hard reset..i did a soft reset instead afterwarRAB and to my surprice all my settings (mms,modem etc..) carried on..
I now have windows live maps/search/messenger working perfectly on my 6700...really fast! the messenger is actually instant...it even plays voice clips sent over msn.! The only bad thing i noticed is that the sprint6700 does not have mms...its like an older version of arcsoft that has windows live email instead of mms... i would have gave up my mms capabilities for my new windows live ones anytime, but it would be nice to have them back.. Im sure we could do something about it, like extract Arcsoft that includes mms and add it??
what do you guys think?? has anyone else tried this??
im pretty happy with it !! its like a new phone.. lots of diferent things!
oh one more thing.. internet explorer connects to cricket wap now ! not just wifi...

I just flashed a ppc6700 with this rom set up the MMS and WAP and windows live still doesnt work it will not sign in at all.
Can you post your settings .
I have mine set up with the cricket proxy and everything.

Amoamare-- my settings are exacly the same i didnt even touch them till today.. after installing the cab ^ and soft reseted some of my setting changed to sprint so a went a head and redid my mms n wap settings from

then went to setting/connections/edit proxy settings and checked the boxes and added wap.mycricket.com as proxy server there as well..

everything's workin fine on my phone... i just added Yahoo go to my phone and it also connects! :clapping:
 
HEEY we should try making a cooking a cricket rom !!
with all the fixes and the best programs for cricket!!
maybe something like the phoenix's rom mixed with the 3.5 clean one!
that would be awesome... does anyone know how to do this??
 
Instructions are posted on PPC Geeks. I'm willing to do it, but would need some help as I am just good at designing and basic coding.
