Hey, just wondering if anyone has any ideas

My doctor says this is nothing, typical! Maybe it is, but it worries me.

For the past year, I get dizzy all the time, at random times, like even after I've eaten well and slept well and there's no reason for it, even if I'm just sitting down and it'll happen. I get heart palpitations randomly, which I know is normal for some young people but I don't drink caffeine or anything. Very often I have no energy at all, and will feel really weak, barely able to walk. I also get shortness of breath sometimes for no reason and a racing heart. I also have the worst immune system ever! With recurring tonsilitis and swollen glands and such, but tests for glandular fever were negative. I'm not just melodramatic, really!

I'm 21, female, and am 105lbs and 5'5" tall, so a bit underweight but I eat a very healthy vegan diet and am quite fit. I had blood tests for everything and everything was fine, and an EKG, which was fine. I'm not on any medications and have no family history of any physical illnesses really. I have depression so my doctor said that all these things are just symptoms of depression and my mother, a nurse, said that when I get palpitations it's an anxiety attack, but I'll get them while lying down relaxing and not thinking about anything stressful at all.

Should I be worried or is this just one of those things, any ideas? Thanks :)

I hope this is the right place for this because it seems general. :)

have you seen an ENT? i suffered from dizzy spells that turned into vertigo and struggled for an answer until my ENT diagnosed me with a deep inner ear infection- i took two rounds of antibiotics- two courses of steroids- tried numerous nasal sprays to try to break up whatever was blocking the passages from the nose to the ear and finally took valtrex for 10 days and it went away- the doctor kept insisting it was a bacterial infection but it turned out to be viral- i also had hearing loss and tinnitus along with the dizziness as well as constant ear pressure and popping so it was very frustrating!! i hope you find an answer because it can make you very nervous wondering when the next dizzy spell is going to happen- and your mom might be right because i suffer from anxiety as well and do get dizzy spells when i feel anxious- good luck-

i agree with your mother saying possible anxiety attacks.

Stress or no stress a anxiety attack can happen anytime , in my opinion for no known reasons.

I also agree with a possible inner ear infection or disorder.

Wish you well
