That's the WHOLE point. The previous New Jersey REPUBLICAN governor came to the realisation that someone can't obtain insurance without a driver's license. His solution: allow everyone to get a driver's license so that everyone can maintain insurance.

It's hardly a solution to the main problem, but it IS a solution to the subsequent problems.

With all the bitching in this thread, it's not unreasonable to be pissed off that there are uninsured motorists driving around here. It makes it worse that in this case it was an illegal immigrant.
 
I'm not accusing anyone of anything.

It's a tenet of economics that immigrants on the whole are a positive force, period.

Others would claim/accuse them of costing the country money.
