Ford transmission is same!, - make sure you get the "overdrive one" - it makes a mileage difference! In fact the engine is only slightly different (internally) than 302 Ford, and "unit to unit" would fit! I suspect that there are a large number of Ford product (and possibly other mfrs.) rear axles that will fit directly! Call your local salvage yard, -- they should have a "junkers bible" (also known as Hollanders interchange manual)- that tells what fits what! Possibly several years before your car will fit also!
