Hey I got a pair of 14 inch subs im throwing in my car will they sound good?

My problem is i have good back speakers but the front are stock and they suck, so im thinking with such big subs all im gonna here is bass. The reason there so big is because my uncle gave them to me for free so thats what im throwing in my car. I have an amp to power them, do you think i'll be able to turn the subs down on my amp?

Yes. Just turn the gain down on the amp. You will find a separate knob for it on your amp.
