Could use your help here...not sure if it's an option but I need to consider selling the bike and maybe picking up another over the winter/spring. Let me know what you think and/or if you're interested too! Not for sale as of yet but we'll see...

2004 999S in Ducati Red bought at BCM Motorsports in Laconia, NH and never been down. Some performance and cosmetics have easily less than 2,500 miles on them.

I would check out what a stock 999S is selling for, then tack on what you think all your upgrades should cover as far as your cost. But I wanted to ask you about your HID's, I read a couple of days ago here that some of the others were installing HID's on their 1098's. Is it fairly simple or are there any issues to consider.
 
my insured value is about $20K but I know nobody will ever pay that...was thinking $15-16K range with $17K being ideal.

I had the HIDs installed but aside from a couple of tweaks I don't think they were that bad. Don't forget to wire your low into your high if you do it...check out a prior post of mine for the background behind it.
 
$17,000.00 sounds good, I would think thats a fair price for your 999s. Considering the fact that the 999 is still an awesome bike. Troy Bayliss was on his way to another World SBK title on a 999 until he crashed and hurt his hand at Donington Park and then some bad luck at Brands Hatch this past race.
