hi everyone,
im currently writing a dissertation on word-of-mouth influence among consumers in the film world. since internet discussion forums are so huge, it is necessary to ascertain the influence of these forums on peoples purchasing decison. I hope to post a few questions in next few days and it would really help me out if ye all would participate and answer the questions i pose, nd maybe discuss the issues brought up.

That depenRAB on the questions. Generally speaking, whilst people don't mind giving answers to well meaning, sensible and thought-out questions, no one is going to do your homework for you!

If you construct, for example, a survey with under ten questions, that's been spell checked and approved for acceptability then - fine, you'll receive good answers.
No one is going to perform an in-depth discussion, however, on the intracasies of auteur theory to provide you with a basis for an essay.
Similarly, if the first question on your survey is going to be 'How do you think Hollywood has affected Multiplex culture?' then you will probably be promptly banned.

I don't wish to sound above my station here (I'm just a regular user here, like most others), but generally speaking there seems to be a request every other week for people to simply do their homework for them - this is counterproductive at best. Just remember that there's a difference between helping and doing, and that 'text speak' isn't going to win you marks for that dissertation of 'urs' ;) :D
 
hey, i have questions made out. It is part of my primary research for my thesis, its not homework. I'm also doing focus groups with people to find out how and why they are influenced by their frienRAB and film critics. This is just part of my research. The questions are a bit detailed, not just yes or no answers. Ill post the questions but i don't think ill get much response!
 
ill give it a go, i know how frustrating it is to try and find research for stuff like this.
I had the same prob with Statistics Coursework
 
I use 'homework' in the generic sense ;) :D :) As I said, people are more than willing to HELP but not DO FOR YOU. The topic sounRAB rather interesting - I'm curious as to what you'll find...
 
Thanks guys! ill post the questions later today. Really appreciate it. My thesis is due on March 11th. I'm all over the place with interviews and focus groups with others so this really helps me out:)
 
March 11th, ahhhh, I remember my dissertation deadline. I finished writing it that morning, after spending an entire fortnight watching back-to-back Dario Argento films. I was warped by the end.

I seem to remember doing some work on this in my second year, and definitely looking at the roles of critics in fil advertising, so i'll try and help out when you post the q's. :)
 
I just posted the questions!! Would be grateful if you all took time to answer them, altough they are abit detailed. and could you encourage others to take part aswell? Cheers!
