well if you know bout how many mpg you get then fill up the tank.

If not then fill up your tank and a gas can. run the car til you run out of gas then right down how many miles you went and use the gas can of gas and put that in and go fill up again. add how much gas you had in the can to how many gallons you got at the gas station and divide that into the miles you went. This will tell you what your avg mpg is and if it sounds right and your needle was on empty then its right

...much i have in the tank? i have changed the seeding unit fuel pump, fuel filter, and the leveler
before i installed it it was workin i tested it but now i dont know the problem is still there i dont know what else i can do to fix it i have all the tools to get things done but i dont know what the problem is please give some good advice or tell me if u had a problem like that or so forth....

may be the actual fuel gauge is faulty?or maybe the wiring isnt as sound as it should be?
