This is the poem.
Simple things, simple lies, simple words
Can mean so much, sting so dreadfully
When the rest of the world walked out,
I didn’t expect you to follow.
But I was alone
Felt so alone
Like two cold hands were creeping into my soul
Clutching my heart
I sat back tensely
Watching the world rush past me
And bury me in the rubble of my mistakes.
But the only thing that keeps my from falling
Into the spiraling abyss of my soul
Is you
But I forgot
To promise
Not to say leave.

The bitterest tears shed
Are over words unsaid or deeds undone
Can you hear my cries
In the shadows of an everlasting dark night
Sticks and stones will break my bones
And words will always wound me.
There once was a time
When silence meant nothing to me
These questions in my mind
Are so much larger than life
My little world
My little abode
Is isolated from the pleasure and contentment
That is too sweet for me to taste
The vivacity and the love
That I had to live without
Is exchanged by anguish and agony beyond words
When I leave you
When I leave this world
The only thing I will remember
Is the look in your eyes
And wishing I could snatch it away forever
And keep it with me
For a slight feeling of warmth
In my torn and battered soul.
When that blaze of torturing actions
Will eventually consume my soul
I’ll look for you above the flames
And try not to forget you.

(I'm so bored. One of my friends wrote this. Comments are welcome.)
