I believe that man was made in the image of God. We get our mind from the Father, our body from the Son, and out soul from the Holy Spirit. At least that's what I think. I do agree though. I think that people have overly personified God and that we have added more humanly characteristics to him, but only because that's the only way we know how to describe him in a way that we understand.
I cant answer something that you and I regard as true. He was made in mans image. It's simply a book on how to live your life or a law book if you like but we are a bit past those ancient times and know a lot more with none of it being consistant with religion. Sadly their are a lot of people that still live in the dark ages and their ignorance to todays findings are ignored.
