hey i tryed asking on the math section and homework help section to solve this math problem but i never got answers so do you book worms now how to do it the question is what is the derivative of f(x)=(x^3+2x^2-x^-2)^-7
 
use the chain rule take the derivative of the inside times -7 and the function to the -8 power so


f'(x)=(3x^2+4x+2x^-3)times-7(x^3+2x^2-x^-2)^-8
