make sure your choke is off. my 400EX does that. "Hesitation" is a vague word. can you explain it any better?

THUMPERTALK.COM will give you a straight answer. I've heard a lot about this, something to do with the ignition.

Changing the muffler bearing would be the fastest and easiest solution.
