was wondering if anyone could help me on knowing to what to expect with a boyfriend in the marines? He leaves for boot camp in july. , thats the start of the road for him. He graduated this year and im still in high school(junior). And also I don't want him to go but I know he has to and both of us want nothing but to stay together.. the love we share is very strong, its hard. ALSO WHAT DO I EXPECT WHEN HE COMES HOME? If anyone could help me.. Thanks!

really, it depends on what he's doing in the marines. If he's going straight into an intense combat situation after basic training you could expect him to come back a better person, mentally and emotionally traumatized or physically ill or wounded mortally or just hurt. At the same time he could come back stronger and in better shape. and this would be really sad but he could possibly die while hes there. but if he survives he got a lot of good things going for him, hes got free health care, life insurance, grants, free college, a career he can always turn to if he needs it (jobs rates are going down), and veterans affairs. he might also be getting payed, just depends. hopefully that helps you.
