I've seen it in a theater about a month ago. And I liked it! BUT, I didn't read the book. And I know that a lot of people who have read the book before the watched the movie, didn't like it. I can't say about what's my fav couple, simply b/c I didn't remember any names  I never do, when I watch the movie for the first time. But I like the message of the movie. It is a VERY GOOD "lesson-movie" ;) for every girl , I think.

No problem. :) I may have to buy a copy of the mag the next time I'm in Wal-Mart.

Mel, if you want to see it again, I say do it. I saw it twice in one weekend...I couldn't help myself. ;)

I'm late to say this, but thank you :D

I love that she realized that, that the most important thing, what she loved the most and missed the most was what they already had, and that that life they had together mattered more than anything else :love::love::love::love:

And as cliche as the proposal might have been, I still loved it :D :love::love:

Alex and Gigi totally stole my heart I just love them together. Neil and Beth were amazing too you could just see how much they loved each other

I didn't like Ben or what he did to Janine!

I agree with Anji, Mel you are going to love this film and I think you will love the two couples that we do to :D

I just LOVE this movie. I've been back to see it again *and* I bought the soundtrack. Lots of good songs!

I can't wait for the DVD. :D

I saw this movie yesterday, it was amazing in editing and rearrangement. Every character experienced the romantic highs and lows in real life, its a bit realistic but I liked that part.

I liked Gigi and Alex at first, I thought it supposed to be my favorite couple in this movie, and it ended as my second favorite one in the list. I was thrilled by their storylines--a guidance counselor and a layman in love theories--as the movie went on, but in the middle of movie, I could see right through their final reunion and quarrel, so it lost its appeal to me.

My favorite couple is Beth/Neil. Some scenes were contrary to expections. Seven-itch was a bottleneck in a marriage, its realistic to decide whether to continue or go on seperate ways, I think it also can be applied to a serious relationship. The boat scene was definitely my favorite, it dropped a hint here marriage was never the final answer to a relationship, it was pale compared with sincere feelings and emotions. But I was glad Neil knelt down to propose yet its cliche.

Anytime, Melinator. Something tells me, you'll enjoy it too. And the same two couples who seems to be stealing all our hearts will also steal yours. ;)

I didn't go in expecting anything, so that's probably one of the many reasons I enjoy it so much.

EDIT: I think Neil/Beth was her favourite, but I'm not sure. :lmao:

i loved this movie. i was feeling really upset and then i went into this movie expecting anything just a cheesey movie. instead i got a great movie, very funny, and thought it was really realistic :D

Bwah, that video! :lmao: I prefer Bradley with short hair, but he's still a pimp anyway. Strings along Justin and ends up falling in love with Kevin. :P

I may end up watching this movie again sometime next month since I have a friend who hasn't seen it yet but really wants to. Hmm. :D

~♥~CrazyInLove~♥~ Great post! Those four were my favorite pairs as well, very cute.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Amanda. :) Yes, the ending had so many 'awww' moments, for me as well.

I hope you also enjoy it, Abby. :)

This movie really answered alot of questions that I knew about men but I did get alot of insite into mens brains. I really loved this movie it is so far my favorite 09 movie.

That's awesome! I haven't talked to any guys who have seen it so to know some really can enjoy it is amazing. :)

ITA with this.

I've seen this twice, once with my sister and once with my cousin. I think what's so great is that both women and men can enjoy it because it's just so true, and that's what makes it really funny when it's funny, and sad when it's sad. My cousin Shane liked it just as much as my sister and I did.

Yeah, when I first saw it, I didn't expect to like the Ben Affleck/Jennifer Aniston pairing, but they ended up being my second favorite in the film.

I was mildly disappointed with this movie. I was expecting it to be funnier and cuter, but it didn't turn out to be that funny (to me, at least). There were some funny moments, especially the scenes with Ginnifer/Justin. Other than that, it was pretty sad, and I don't know, a bit too real. Not that that's bad or anything. I found the Jennifer C./Bradley/Scarlett storyline to be especially painful. :( I thought Jennifer A./Ben were actually pretty good together though. It wasn't too bad of a movie; just wasn't what I expected.
