I saw this movie yesterday, it was amazing in editing and rearrangement. Every character experienced the romantic highs and lows in real life, its a bit realistic but I liked that part.
I liked Gigi and Alex at first, I thought it supposed to be my favorite couple in this movie, and it ended as my second favorite one in the list. I was thrilled by their storylines--a guidance counselor and a layman in love theories--as the movie went on, but in the middle of movie, I could see right through their final reunion and quarrel, so it lost its appeal to me.
My favorite couple is Beth/Neil. Some scenes were contrary to expections. Seven-itch was a bottleneck in a marriage, its realistic to decide whether to continue or go on seperate ways, I think it also can be applied to a serious relationship. The boat scene was definitely my favorite, it dropped a hint here marriage was never the final answer to a relationship, it was pale compared with sincere feelings and emotions. But I was glad Neil knelt down to propose yet its cliche.
