How does this effect newborns the diesease and the medication

Normally if a newborn contracts Herpes it usually effects the eyes and is treatable with drops and will clear up with no problems or issues. Herpes is not passed to the baby during conception only during delievery and If your Ob knows you have it they will opt for a C-section, this makes the chances of exposure during birth even less, like I said normally it effects the mucus membrane and that happens during Vaginal Delieveries. I would not worry, if you are pregnant and have questions your OB/GYN will be able to put your mind at ease... take Care and don't worry...
