My herpes test is negative, but my doctor still offer me medicine to take.
because i told her i have wounds in my lips before when my last sex with a girl.

Any advice is my doctor correct? What should i do?

There is a reason that your doctor went through exhaustive and many years of training and that is that their advice is more likely better than any advice anyone on here can give you (there are not that many doctors on yahoo answers). If you are that worried about it see a different doctor for a second opinion. I would advise that you take the medication which will not do damage even if you do not need it. It is better to be safe than sorry and to protect other people that you may sleep with.
