I'm not about to have a big feminist rant here, honest, but has anyone else ever wondered why we can't have a female all - action film character who doesn't look like she's just walked out of the hair and make - up department and can convincingly do the whole 'reluctant' hero thing (the same way that Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel and co) do. Was that a big feminist rant? Oh well, it's just something that bothers me.

horror films (especially slashers) traditionally have female heros.

then there's sigournery weaver, linda hamilton, carrie-anne moss, anjelina jolie...

tv is the place place to find them - buffy, alias, charmed etc
