Hero Rom Advice - Please Chime In!

I have been flashing Rom's like crazy. I love trying new Roms, but I'm looking to settle down. I know everyone loves Cyanogen and super D, But I have decided that I love Sense UI. I've tried a few but they all seem to have major flaws like no video drivers, unbearably slow, etc...

I want a good one for every day use. If anyone has had good luck with one that they could recommend, please do. Thanks guys.

this may not be exactly what you wanted to hear, but i say give cyanogen a shot. i doubt you'll go back to a hero rom--they'll seem soo much slower.

if you really like the sense ui widgets, you should check out koxx's pure widgets--they're really nice; kinda hero-ish, but more customizable. if you get that and beautiful widgets, you're covered for sense ui widgets. i do miss the facebook picture integration and the really nice smartdialer, but i can like without. cyanogen's pulling a lot of eclair apk's, so the dialer and stuff are pretty nice. if you wanna try something new, try openeclair or king's eclair. eclair nice, but it's still slow to me since i've been spoiled with cyanogen's speed.
 
I agree. I haven't really enjoyed any Eclair roms due to speed issues. I love the little transition bounce from Sense, along with the widgets. I'll check out Koxx's (terrible name) widgets, and I may end up with Cyanogen. I just don't want to quit on Sense unless I know there's nothing out there for me.
 
hero roms take a lil work, all of em do. if u follow the instructions on how to make it faster then they run just as fast as any Rom, cyan included. I did some vids to back it up, if they not in that thread I know they are in the xda thread and remember to wipe everything or you'll waste your time flashing.
