Here's a riddle for you, try to answer it...?

Ok, so three guys go to a hotel, with $30. They find that one room is left, which is small, so they ask how much it is. The clerk lets them have it for thier money, so each man gives his ten dollars.
Later, the clerk felt bad, having taken all thier money for such a small room, so she sent the bellhop, with 5 dollars to give back.
The bellhop knew that 5 didn't go with 3, so he kept two dollars. He gave each man one dollar back. So instead of paying 10 dollars, they each payed nine. If this is true, then the total would be 27, then if you add the two the bellhop keeped? Its 29.

Where did the last dollar go?
 
The three paid $25 in fact, since they got back $3. That makes the figure $28. The waiter pinched $2. It would make the figure $30.
 
well they paid $30 they were suppose to get $5 back so it means they only paid $25 for the room the bellhop kept $2 and gave back $3 so that is $30
 
They didn't pay 9 dollars for the room.
They paid 8.33 each.
Divide 25 by 3 and you don't get 9.
