Here's a Riddle for you to figure out.?

There is a long pipe stuck in a cement sidewalk and only a little bit of the top is sticking out the bottom of the pipe is sealed off and there is no way to pull it out. You drop a ball in the pipe that just bearly fits. it falls to the bottom how do you get the ball out?

now that i think of it if it barele fits in the pipe water wont run under it and cause it to float, i dont think anyone has solved it yet.
