In the process of trying to revive my SECOND Pearl in less than 7 months (current Pearl is in a reset loop after charging the battery). Have had the Pearl since January 2007.

Looking at the T-Mo BB page, I see my options for alternate exchange are the 8800 and the 8700g. Will there be ANY new SureType devices coming out ASAP (I have heard I can't get another 7105t :cry: and am STRONGLY considering NOT getting another Pearl), am I SOL and will have to resort to either one of these, my 2 yr old 7100t or will another QWERTY BB come out soon??? I need advice ASAP!!

Going out of town this weekend so I may be taking the 7100t with me for the weekend.
 
Sorry to hear that Erica, I would imagine that we are getting close to the 8300 on T-Mobile release. I know its not SureType but its a great device.
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ If the 8300 is coming, I hope its black and not grey. I will be using my 7100t until something newer comes out then doing an alternate handset exchange if possible. If not I'm gonna get the 8800.
 
I went through 2 in a week. My 1st one died, replacement rebooted randomly, 3rd on had a button problem, but i fixed it for now (however I have a replacement call in when ever I feel like it). Thye told me I could get a dash instead of a pearl, LOL!, liek I would want that piece of junk. I'm thinking of wiating until the new one comes out, if it is soon and haggling.
