Here we go again: Top 15 Richest Fictional Characters

Actually he's this guy:

Montana Max, Supposedly Rich....

Now one I can't see them not putting on the list is perhpas The Senor Seniors (Both Senor Senior Sr. and Senor Senior Jr.) of the Kim Possible Series:

Senor Senior Sr (Left) and Senor Senior Junior. (Right)

After all they have the requesite billions to be in 'The Billionaires Club', and in fact Senor Senior Sr. plays cards with another Multi-billionaire who's background is in fact Retail outlets:

Namely one Martin Smarty.
Marty_Smarty.jpg

of Smarty Mart Fame. (This guy has a few billion to play with and even owns a number of tropical islands. (and in fact at one time Shego actually was interested in marrying this guy, but once she found out he had a son? The deal was off..)

and then of course, what about former disinherited cat food heiress,

Camille Leone.
Camille_Leone.jpg

Camille herself was easily worth 2.5 billion (If not more) in cold hard cash thanks to all the make up lines and items she pushed before she got that radical surgery, plus all the royalties from her "Debutante" line of gourmet catfood. But when Daddy Leone found out that she was messing with the wrong crowd, well you can imagine where that inheritance went.. right out the window. But I bet her cat Debutante is still making cash for Camille just on Catfood alone!

But still besides David Xanatos, and The Seniors, Martin smarty would be on a top 100 list.. but Camille? She's history.. as she lost all the inheriteance..

After all I think Forbes only rates the top 15 cartoon billionaires, but they should actually do a "Top 50" as there are tons of cartoon billionaires out there..besides the ones they talk about in their list. But here would be 4 more toon Billionaires that would be on the list (or rather 3, Camille got disinherited...)

:coyote:

He's obscure to the common man. Only people who watched Gargoyles know who he is. And while there is a big fanbase, the common person reading the article will recognise half the people on the list. I mean, Jed Clampett, Scrooge... they're all House hold names.

While Xantos isn't too obscure, I doubt anyone but toonhounds would recognize him.

The thing is, Scrooge is deservedly #1 and the article basically references Ducktales when it describes him, even though the common person may think of A Christmas Carol otherwise. So far as I know, Gargoyles was a more popular show back in the day.

I would like to point out one mistake they made. they apparently didn't make any real attempt at researching Scrooge's real vaule.

Barks vauled him at one multiplujillion, nine obsquatumatillion, six hundred twenty-three dollars and sixty-two cents. While Don Rosa vauled him at five multiplujillion, nine impossibidillion, seven fantasticatrillion dollars and sixteen cents.

True but then Jed Clampett and Thurston Howell the 3rd, aren't cartoon characters. David Xanatos is.. and in fact I'm shocked that David Xanatos didn't even get into the top 15, (In fact this is why I suggest a rabroad euqivalent that Forbes could use as a guideline. After all, we cartoon watchers know more about some billionaires than Forbes Magazine does.)

So maybe not taking the thread too far off track here, Let's then discuss who would and wouldn't qualify for The "rabroad" Top 50 Billionaires list."

(Maybe Forbes Magazine would take a good liking to this list. as a guideline).

Also we would have to put figures out there.. after all Since Forbes Magazine is rating this on Monetary value, it's only fair we do the same.

But as for Ming The Mercilless? I say this.. Feh.. Like another person pointed out what is the Mongo Gold Standard, and why would Ming The Mercilless be on that list? As for Edward Phillip James Lawrence III from Class of 3000? He qualifies.. after all his family is indeed rich..

and then of course I found a few other billionaires in the KP universe.. and you might be surprised how much they make.

Pop Pop Porter has billions with his snack food empire..(Pop Pop Porter's Mini Corn Dogs are a big hit with the heat and eat snack food crowd).

Alfred Door The "Bill Gates" software czar is right up there with Real world equal, Bill Gates considering Gates is sitll worth more than most of the Toon Lists.

Paula Pandowdy also has requisite billions here, as she is the head of most day time talkshows, and hence she too would qualify along with Martin Smarty. After all with Senor Senior Sr. playing with 4 of the top richest persons in the world, well you get an idea that the Forbes List is highly skewed.

but that's just my thoughts on this.

I would say if rabroad. net did a "Top 50 list of Richest folks, Goldie Gold would definitely be on that list, along with Penelope Pitstop...

:coyote:

Unless in the case of Thurston Howell the 3rd, we can count the cameos in spin-off animated series from Filmation like Gilligan's Planet ;)

other riches cartoons characters
Cyril Sneer in the Raccoons
Prince John in Rocket Robin Hood
J. Johan Jameson, in the 1967 Spider-man version he wasn't so rich but in the 1994 version, he own the Daily Bugle as well as a tv station
