So, first it was a decision between the Iphone and the G2.
Before that, it was either the Blackberry 7500 or the Mytouch 3g slide
I have T-mobile, and quite frankly. I'm annoyed.
I went to Tmobile today to try out a demo of the G2. Then I was introduced to the HD7, which I found to be a pretty moderately good looking phone. It was sleek in its design, very thin (Thin is important, I guess), and a wide screen (Which is good for my hands). And it has a feature that I enjoyed with the Mytouch slide: The genius button. The only reason I'd want the Mytouch is because of the genius button and the keyboard.
The G2 has the same feature, but not as good. When I tried the demo for the G2, it was exactly like I've seen in the uboxing videos. It had great crisp graphics, excellent web browser (Like I was on the computer), a moderate camera, and a pretty cool keyboard. The phones popular for its keyboard. But it does seem loose, and the keys were a little stuck (Maybe because it was a demo?) I loved the user interface. It was very easy to get around..
The HD7, I didn't explore much..To unlock the screen, you simply need to pull down the screen literally (Its touch screen). I didn't check the camera, nor did I check the video..I've just now heard of the phone, so I'm just now researching it.
These questions come to mind: Which one is more resistant to breaking?(If I accidentally dropped it) Which one is tougher? Which ones easier to fit in my pocket?
Plus, a thought came to mind..The HD7 has the genius button AND it has a swipe keyboard (Never had swipe. I used a T9 keyboard on my samsung behold and I hate it)..But why would I get a phone with a keyboard, if I could simply text with my voice? (The genius button). I've seen examples of the genius button on Youtube.
Also..Why would I need a keyboard if I never used swipe? What if I learned how to use swipe, and I got used to it so much that..I never use the keyboard anymore? Then its just dead weight.
And finally, a picky question...Which one is more customizable? More personalized?
